This is a beautiful Mexican pottery large bowl or dish. It is large measuring 11 3/4" in diameter. Nice bold blue trim and very colorful section inside. Green with white flower petals, rust or brown with white and black designs. Very intricate patterns. Back of dish has eyelets if you wanted to hang it for folk art wall decor. Signed on back RUTH Mex. It has a double pedestal circular rings and are a red clay which makes me think it is an older piece. It looks to be Talavera but I do not know for sure. Very good condition. please look at pictures closely as this appears to be a handmade item so does have some cosmetic flaws. It's a very beautiful piece. Weighs 2 lbs 9 oz.
