Associated with the heart charka, Aventurine is known as the heart healer - it cleans and protects, promotes prosperity, strength, compassion, security and overall calmness.
Creamy soft greens and a mix of transparent brown and mauve-brown complement each other well within this necklace. The 18 X 13 mm aventurine beads are separated by copper carrier beads which are hand stitched in different styles and by 4 mm gold filled beads and caps. For the straps, I used the Russian spiral beadweaving technique, and are made using 11 and 15 size toho seed beads. For strength and structure I added tubing and ended them with copper end caps. Stainless steel flex wire runs throughout the whole necklace. Clasp, wire protectors, jump rings and crimp cover beads are gold filled. Necklace is a bit over 20 inches long.
