Rare Vintage Art Deco Silver Chrom Plated Penguin Bultler Bookends Candle Holder. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
They are silver plated . very shiney. they could be chrome but they tarnish occasionally and I have to use silver polish on them.They are also heavy, weight about 1 lb and 10 ounces each. They make excellent book ends and have a place for trinkets or votive candles in their trays. They have a very proper almost regal appearance. They would enhance almost any decor but strike me as very art-deco. About 6.5 inches high with the trays extending for a depth of 4.5 all together and the base is 3 X 3 inches. Tag on bottom says Made in India. Original felt still on the bottom.
I researched online said they are also used to hold martini glasses. But I’m not quite sure. But they are rare and gorgeous
