THE BROOCH WILL SIT 0.50 INCHES HIGH. THE HEAD, PROBOSCIS AND UPPER BODY ARE MADE OF 14k WHITE GOLD. 4 DIAMONDS I BELIEVE TO BE SINGLE CUTS & CLOSE TO 0.05 POINTS EACH THEY ARE VERY LIVE STONES THE EYES COULD BE EMERALDS ROUND CABOCHONS. THE REASON TO SAY I BELIEVE THE GREEN EYES ARE EMERALDS AS ARE SMALL STONE & THEY WOULD NOT BE COSTLY. THE LEGS AND BODY ARE LOST WAX CASTINGS. THE WINGS ARE ADDED ON AND HAND FLORENTINE FINISH THE BROOCH PIN HAS A SAFETY ROLL CATCH THE UNDERSIDE OF ONE WING IS STAMPED 14k AND MAKERS MARK
WHERE WAS IT MADE? I DON’T REMEMBER PURCHASED IN CHICAGO WHEN WE LIVED THERE IN MID 70’s.
