Two-volume 1840 Edward Moxon edition of The Works of Beaumont and Fletcher (intro. George Darley). Octavo, each about 9.5" x 6". Leather bound with gilt spines and red labels; marbled edges and endpapers; engraved portrait frontispieces and engraved general titles (dated 1839), with printed volume title pages 1840. Classic collected plays of the Jacobean collaborators—attractive shelf presence and a nice Victorian printing.
Boards show rubbing and surface loss to the leather; some spine wear; solid, clean interiors with normal age toning. No rips or tears to pages noted See pictures for further details on condition.
